James Edward Wade was born March 9, 1970, in Benton, Arkansas, to John Edward and Barbara Ellen (Ruiz) Wade. He passed away on July 12, 2026, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
In high school, James was active in football and track. Upon his graduation from high school, James later worked at the Brown Shoe Company until 1993. He then went on to earn his CDL and did OTR trucking from 1998 to 2019. After his trucking career, James worked as a school bus driver, transporting the local community children to school and back.
James truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was known as an avid collector of cards, knives, and rare coins. However, his true passion in his life was dedicating his time in caring for his parents. He also had a very big role in raising and caring for his nieces and nephews.
His parents, John and Barbara Wade, brothers, Bradley and Glen Wade, and sister, Sharon Wade, precede him in death.
James is survived by his sisters, Patricia Bass (Joseph), and Michelle Schlotter (Jim); brothers, Carl Campbell, Jay Wade (Gail), and Barry Wade (Chau); nieces and nephew, Spenser Stewart (Michael), Eddie Wade, Brittany Moore (Luther), Jenson Wade (Tyler), Jordan Selby (Tyler), and Devon Brammer (Chris); thirteen great-nieces, eight great-nephews, and BJ, his cat who dearly misses him.
