Jerry Lee Stetler, son of the late Raymond Stetler and Ruth (Riley) Stetler, was born November 8, 1945, in Williamsport, Indiana, and departed this life May 23, 2026, at WebCo Manor in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 15 days.
Jerry grew up in Indiana. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army in 1974, where he proudly served as a Military Policeman (MP). Following his honorable discharge, he continued his dedication to public service, working as a security guard for the Department of Veterans Affairs until his retirement.
On December 16, 1967, Jerry was united in marriage to Luellen Keller. Together they shared 59 happy years. A man of deep faith, Jerry enjoyed attending church whenever his health permitted. He was an active member of Harvest Chapel Church in Branson, Missouri, until he and his family relocated from the area. Jerry also carried a spiritual calling and was an ordained minister.
Jerry was a funny, caring, and fun-loving man who truly loved to make people laugh. In his spare time, he found joy in photography and woodworking. Jerry also had a love for animals, especially dogs. He cared for many dogs throughout his life, loving each one as if they were his own children.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruth Stetler, one brother, Lloyd Stetler, three sisters, Letha Redinbo, Louise Keller, and Virginia Ping.
He is survived by his loving wife, Luellen Stetler of the home, one son, Jason Stetler of Idaho, one daughter, Tamera Lehr and husband Doug of Indiana, three brothers, Rober Stetler, Carl Stetler, and Larry Stetler, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. We celebrate his life and honor his lifetime of service to others.
