Jesse Jones

January 15, 1975 — April 13, 2026

Mansfield, Missouri

Jesse Paul Jones, son of Ted Jones and the late Lynda (Everett) Carter, born January 15, 1975, in Orange, California, departed this life unexpectedly on April 13, 2026, in Ava, Missouri, at the age of 51 years, 2 months, and 29 days.

He was raised in Northern California in a town called Happy Camp. He lived a free life, running around the mountains and rivers. Jesse had moved several times from Northern California to Southern California and back. He held various jobs from warehouse, construction, and wildland firefighting, which he loved the most.

He met his second wife in 2001, and they have been inseparable since. They built a life and family together. Jesse and his family moved to Mansfield, Missouri, in 2017 to make a better life for his family. Jesse lived life to the fullest every day. He loved his four-wheeler and anything to do with motors. He loved to laugh and was musically talented. You were lucky if you got to hear him play his guitar. What he loved the most was his family. His greatest joy was spending time together as a family. Jesse had accepted Jesus into his heart, he had been saved, and was baptized.

Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda Carter; and his brother, Daniel Jones.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Ami Jones; two daughters, Heavenly Jones and fiance, Tyler Young, and Haleigh Jones; sons, Tyler Jones and Zach Jones; father, Ted Jones and wife, Tera Jones; aunt, Jacquie; uncle, Chuck Lowe; aunt, Susie and uncle, Mike Newbeck; uncle, Clarence; uncle, Tim and aunt, Carol Jones; nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Jesse Jones, a son, a husband, and a father. He wanted to be known as the “cool guy,” the man you could go ride with for hours without saying a word, but he was so much more than that. He had a big heart. All he ever wanted was for all of his friends and family to be together. He just wanted everyone to laugh and make jokes with him. He was a loving husband to his wife, a caring father to his children. May he rest in peace, and may he forever be popping wheelys in the sky.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
