Jessie Earl Leighty, passed away on September 29, 2015, in the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri. For the last several years he was a resident of the Kabul Nursing Home.
Jessie Earl was born on December 14, 1940, to James Leighty and Ruth (Skaggs) Leighty in Huggins, Missouri.
Jessie Earl was an avid coon hunter and hauled cattle for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jessie Earl is survived by two brothers: Jackies Ray and Ervin Lee; as well as many cousins and friends.
He will be missed by many.
Private Burial: Friday, October 2, 2015, at Number One Cemetery, Huggins, Missouri.
