Jessie Ray Wilson, of Norwood, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at his home. He was born to Darlene and Kenneth Ray Wilson on October 7, 1966, in Lebanon, Missouri.

Jessie had one son, James Ray Wilson. Jessie met and married the love of his life, Ginger Wilson, and he gained two step-sons, Cory Ross Taylor and Benjamin Harley Taylor.

Jessie was a Christian and he gained his strength through Christ. He attended church in Hartville, Missouri. Jessie liked being out of the city and he enjoyed being in the country hunting and fishing. He especially loved mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed talking on the CB radio where he was known by his handle, “Bushwhacker”.

Jessie was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ray Wilson, and two brothers-in-law, Skippy Myers and Jay Myers.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Wilson, his mother and step-father, Darlene and Ray Allen, three sisters, Janie Myers, Deborah Myers, and Beth Allen, one son, James Wilson, two step-sons, Benjamin Taylor and Cory Taylor, eight grandchildren, Braydon Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson, Skylee Taylor, David Taylor, Katie Sterling, PJ Sterling, Katelyn Noack, and Bradley Taylor, five great-grandchildren, Jasper Bennett, Kayden Sterling, Adalynn Sterling, Elayla Sterling, and Brynlee Sterling, his ex-daughter-in-law, Kristian Wilson, his close friends, Mike Brackett and Rocky Myers, and many other extended family and friends who will miss him.
