Joan Jenni Sanders

Joan Jenni Sanders, 86, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away at home on August 13, 2015 in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
Joan was born December 21, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Flossie Jenni. She was raised in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High School. She was a devout Christian and a long-time member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before moving to Mountain Grove, Missouri.
Following high school, she attended Oklahoma State University and married her husband, Carrol. They raised their family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2010, Joan and Carrol moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, where they lived next to their son: Michael; daughter-in-law: Gloria; and granddaughter: Ashley.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol of 65 years.
She is survived by a daughter: Kathryn Rusk, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a son: Michael, of Mountain Grove; and a daughter: Jennifer Sanders, of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Molly, Ashley, Aaron, and Kate.
