Joan’s happiest memories were of growing up on her grandparent’s farm, Alice Acres, in Gales Ferry, Connecticut.

Joan was a child of GOD. She loved her Lord fiercely and lived her life for God. Joan would stop everything to pray for those who needed it whether she knew them or not. Joan was a special lady. She stepped in to care for grandchildren when their mother needed help. She provided food, prayer, love, and comfort to anyone around when she was able. Joan was kind and was willing to talk to and share stories with everybody who would listen.

The family takes great comfort knowing Joan has flown on the wings of eagles to the waiting arms of her Lord.
