John Geringer

John Richard Geringer, son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Eichler) Geringer, was born June 16, 1944, in Wheatland, Wyoming, and departed this life July 29, 2021, in Macomb, Missouri. He was 77 years, 1 month, and 13 days of age.

John grew up and attended school in Wheatland. After high school, he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Daves on September 16, 1972. John enjoyed farming and working as a truck driver for many years.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Geringer, and two grandsons, Dallas Kerns and Eric Richard Geringer.

John is survived by three sons, Bill Geringer of Bolivar, Missouri, Randy Geringer and wife, Marina, of Elko, Nevada, and Tracy Geringer of Casper, Wyoming, eight grandchildren, John, Keith, Randy Jr., Sabrina, Henry, and Chris Geringer, Ashley Wake, and Brittany Akers, eleven great-grandchildren, Tinsley, Aydan, Mayson, Jasmine, Raina, Skylar, a newborn, Piper, Xavier, Christina, and Damon, one sister, Geraldine McClun, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
