Judy Lee Campie was born on July 29, 1940, to Earl and Mary Slininger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Betty McLaughlin, Deloris Wells, Patricia Ricketts, and Louis Slininger.
On October 25, 1958, Judy married the love of her life, Darrell Campie. Together, they built a life centered on faith and family. They were blessed with eight children; three were called home to be with Jesus before they could be known. She is survived by five children: Christine (Darrell) Hull of Mansfield, Missouri; Ruth Ann (Lee) Ellis of Springfield, Missouri; Cathy (Tim) Warner of Mountain Grove, Missouri; Darren (Lori) Campie of Mansfield, Missouri; and Josh (Heather) Campie of Ozark, Missouri.
Judy was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, including Phillip (Candi) Hull of Ozark, Missouri; Rachel (Shawn) Jackson of Springfield, Missouri; Jabon (Sonya) Ellis of St. Louis, Missouri; Nathan Ellis of Springfield, Missouri; Caitlin Warner, Timmy Warner, and Stevie Warner, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri; Jenna (Christopher) Strope of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; Derek (Hannah) Campie of Mansfield, Missouri; and Oliver Campie of Ozark, Missouri.
She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, including Robyn Jackson of Springfield, Missouri; Adrian, Sammy, and Meadow Strope of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; and Ember, Marley, Ellie, and Maeve Campie of Mansfield, Missouri.
A devoted Christian, Judy’s life reflected her deep love for Jesus and her unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her compassion, and the boundless love she shared with all who knew her.
A small graveside service will be held in the spring.
