Judy Diane (Daniel) Jones, daughter of Laverne Claude and Betty Sue Daniel, was born May 28, 1952, in Marysville, California, and departed this life on July 3, 2025, at her home in Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 5 days.

At a young age, Judy moved from California to Hartville, Missouri, to live with her grandparents, Claus Claud Daniel. and Faye Daniel, who raised her. She attended Hartville school. She was saved and baptized at the Sunshine Church in Hartville, Missouri.

Judy was united in marriage to James Jones, and to this union, three children were born: Frank, Kevin, and Michelle. However, as life often presents, their paths eventually diverged, culminating in a divorce. After divorcing, they remained close friends.

Judy worked at the shoe factory in Mansfield for many years and at Hutchens Industries in Seymour. She loved spending time with her family and friends, planting flowers in her yard, playing back alley Phase 10, and taking short drives in town. She loved the Christmas holiday and would go all out decorating her house. She also loved TV game shows. She was adamant about watching the Hallmark channel, especially Christmas movies in July.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, one sister, Janet Daniel, aunt, Darlene Thomas, uncle, Wendell Daniel, uncle, Carol Daniel, aunt, Floydine Baker, and niece, Lisa Hurst. Three best friends, Liz Jones, Sherry Jones, Sherry Stout, and her two beloved pets, Mesa and Madie.

Judy is survived by, James Jones, two sons, Frank Jones and wife, Michelle, Kevin Jones and wife, Kendra, one daughter, Michelle Jones, and dog, Yeti, all of Mansfield, Missouri, brother, Dan Daniel and wife, Cathy of Salem, Oregon, half-brother Wade Kempthorne of Canby, Oregon, aunt Geraldine and husband, Howard Crouch of Duenweg, Missouri, grandchildren, Deleah (Mario), McKenna, Evan, Josh (Breanna), Autumn (Dennis), Sierra, Noah, Chase, and Carly. Great-grandchildren Landon, Layton, Sira, Brynlee, Cohen, and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends she considered family.

Judy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and caring neighbor and friend. She will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her.
