Lenny Carter, son of the late George and Evlyne (Richardson) Carter, was born on May 15, 1955, in Coos Bay, Oregon, and passed away February 21, 2024, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 68 years, 9 months, and 6 days of age.
Lenny's commitment to caring for others was evident throughout his career as a CNA at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri. His compassion and kindness touched the lives of many patients under his care. Lenny received his education at West Valley in Idaho, where he honed his skills and knowledge to better serve those in need.
Outside of work, Lenny had a passion for watching football and basketball games. He found joy and excitement in these sports, which brought him relaxation and entertainment. Additionally, he had an affinity for spooky things that added a sense of thrill to his life.
Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Brenda Carter.
He is survived by his sons, Montana Carter, Dakota Carter, daughters, Kimberly Williams, and April Reid, his life friend and the mother of his children, Karen Mast, his brother, Dan Carter, sister, Shaunene Talbot, grandchildren, Nichole, Tiffany, Haley and Trevor, as well as his great-grandchild, Paisley.
Lenny Carter's legacy of compassion, dedication to healthcare, and love for sports will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a positive impact on those around him.
