Linda Armstrong

Linda Lee (Shebelbon) Armstrong, age 62, of Springfield, Missouri, was born November 9, 1963, in Houston, Texas, to Emil “Lucky” and Patsy Shebelbon. She passed away on September 19, 2026, surrounded by her family that deeply loved her.

Linda grew up in Houston and lived there until she moved to Missouri in 1997.

Linda was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She spent her life caring for others, loving her pets, and collecting antiques at flea markets and garage sales. She was known for her personality, sense of humor, prankster abilities, strength, stubbornness, generosity, faith and love of her family. Those who knew her will remember her quick wit, sense of humor, love of pulling a good prank, and the way she fiercely loved others and her family.

Linda was a devoted follower of Jesus. She loved the Lord and placed her faith in Yeshua/Jesus Christ. Her family finds comfort in knowing that death does not have the final word and that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Above all, Linda loved her family and was so happy they were there as she walked into the arms of Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emil “Lucky” Shebelbon I and her grandmother, Vivian Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Armstrong, her mother, Patsy M. Shebelbon, siblings, Kitty M. Ryder, Emil C. Shebelbon II, Virginia A. Murphy, Sarah M. Kragh, Lillian M. Shebelbon, Jacob Q. Shebelbon, Rachel F. Day, and Hollis M. Shebelbon, eleven nephews, nine nieces, five great-nephews, and seven great-nieces.

Although our hearts are broken by her absence, we are deeply grateful for the years we were given with Linda. Her life mattered. She was deeply loved, and the love, memories, laughter, and pieces of herself that she gave to her family will remain with us. We will miss her quick wit, sense of humor, love of pulling a good prank and her loving heart.
