Lois Kay Daniels, 79, of Falcon, Missouri, daughter of the late Elmer George and Melba Pauline (Helms) Smith, was born February 7, 1947, in Sullivan, Missouri. She departed this life on May 2, 2026, at her home in Falcon, surrounded by family.

Lois was united in marriage to the love of her life, William “Bill” Ray Daniels, on June 25, 1968. She was the cornerstone of her family. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois worked at PPG Glass Company in Crystal City, Missouri, and Soundolier Inc. in Festus, Missouri. She also had an upholstery business. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, and working in her flower gardens. She loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds and had some thirty feeders out for them each year. She was a member of the Iris Society and was a former winner at one of the exhibitions. Lois was also an excellent seamstress and was great at quilting and sewing of all varieties. She also enjoyed spending time with her mother-in-law, LaVerne White, and her two brothers-in-law, Joe and Charley White.

Lois will be remembered for her smile, her kindness, and the words she told so many of her friends and family over the years, “I love you.”

Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Daniels; her son, Earl “Butch” Coplin Jr.; and siblings, Rodney, Junior, MaryLou, Dukie, Bill, Bud, Sonny, and Bonnie.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Billie Jo Daniels; granddaughters, Jodee Givens and Jolee Daniels; grandson, Butch Lennon Coplin; great-grandsons, Jasper Givens and Jariah Givens; siblings, Verla Elliott, Charlotte Rutledge, Linnie Smith, Buttons Smith, and Sandy Lane; and many other relatives and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
