Dovie Lois Ipock, daughter of the late Marvin and Pansy (Ince) Cornelison, was born April 25, 1937, in Diggins, Missouri, and departed this life June 1, 2025, at Concordia Nursing Rehab in Bella Vista, Arkansas, at 88 years of age.
Lois became a Christian at a revival at Fordland Baptist Church in 1959. She has been a faithful member of South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri, Harmony Baptist Church in Rogersville, Missouri, and Bella Vista Baptist Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas, throughout the years.
Lois and her husband, Earnie, loved to travel together and they were able to visit 49 of the 50 United States throughout their marriage. They even included a week-long fishing trip to Canada. Lois also enjoyed interior decorating. She and Earnie built many houses together throughout the years. They were a great team as he would build the houses, and she would decorate them. Lois also enjoyed working out at the gym and staying in good health.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Pansy Cornelison, her husband, Earnest C. Ipock, one daughter, Sandy Carlew, one son, Clyde Ipock, two brothers, Dale Cornelison and Denzil Cornelison, one sister, Louise Owens, and three nephews, Steve Owens, Donnie Cornelison, and Randy Cornelison.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Flippo and husband, Dan, four grandchildren, Josh Flippo, Stacey Dunavan and husband, Moose, Taylor Stone and husband, Justin, and Tasha Richey and husband, Shawn, five great-grandchildren, Cody Dunavan, Kelsey Dunavan, Dexter Stone, Bailynn Stone, and Lukas Richey, and many nephews and nieces who will miss her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
