Lola Lathrom

Lola Mae Lathrom, daughter of the late Oliver Milton and Katie Elizabeth (Ledbetter) Dennis, was born September 27, 1946, and passed away on January 14, 2026, Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri, following a brief illness at the age of 79.

Lola was united in marriage to Jerry Lathrom in 1965. Three children were born to this union: Donna Jean, Doyle Dwayne, and Terry Wayne. Lola’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Lola was saved and baptized at a young age. She remained faithful to the Lord throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed attending church services at Southside Baptist and Emmanuel Baptist.

Besides her parents, Lola was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Chandler and Hazel Lathrom.

Lola is survived by her husband, Jerry Lathrom of the home; one daughter, Donna Todd and husband, Marty of Van Buren, Missouri; two sons, Doyle Lathrom and Terry Lathrom both of Mountain Grove; four grandchildren, Kevin, Amber, Martin, and Lee; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
