Lonnie Crisp

March 19, 1948 — July 4, 2023

Lonnie Melvin Crisp, son of the late Parris Crisp and Mary (Burney) Crisp, was born March 19, 1948, in Lebanon, Missouri, and went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2023, at his home in Bendavis, Missouri. He was 75 years, 3 months, and 15 days of age.

Lonnie always had a natural mechanical ability and later had a desire to take a business college course of learning to repair ATVs and motorcycles. He enjoyed operating his business as long as his health permitted. Lonnie also loved going to late model car races and to the ATV races, especially to watch his family and friends race.

Lonnie was united in marriage to Sandy Yarber in 1967. Four children were born to this union. Later in 1994, Lonnie was united in marriage to Kaye (Baty) Collins.

Lonnie faithfully attended Fairview Pentecostal Holiness Church and served as a board member for many years. He truly loved the Lord deeply and his greatest desire was that all of his family and loved ones would be saved.

Besides his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Crisp, one brother, Ronnie Crisp, and one sister, Beverly Friend.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Kaye Crisp of the home; his children, Annette Burt of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Loretta Ellis and husband, Donnie, of Green Mountain, Missouri, Anthony Crisp and wife, Mandy, of Seymour, Missouri, Terry Collins and wife, Kim, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Tracey Collins of Lynchburg, Missouri; one brother, Larry Crisp and wife, Jennifer, of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Betty Kincheloe and husband, Don, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one half-brother, Michael Jennings; one half-sister, Tabby Jolly and husband, Patrick; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him but will rejoice that he is walking with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
