Michael L. Baney

Michael Leon Baney, son of Clarence and Mary Ellen (Mayfield) Baney, was born October 2, 1963, in St. Charles, Missouri, and departed this life November 28, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 60.

Growing up, Michael attended school in Wentzville, Missouri. He enjoyed being outdoors especially when hunting. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed horses. Michael was also a great cook. He was very particular and payed great attention to detail. He was a hard worker and spent many years as a concrete finisher. Michael was a kind and caring man with a sweet and loving personality. He was always looking for opportunities to help others in need.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Baney.

Michael is survived by his mother of whom he loved so dearly, Mary Baney of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one brother, Marvin Baney of Dawson, Missouri; and many other relatives and close friends who will miss him dearly.
