Nita Gilbert

Nita Burl (Reser) Gilbert, daughter of the late Burl Kenneth and Loneta Mae (Brown) Reser, was born February 29, 1948, in Exeter, California, and departed this life October 26, 2023, in West Plains, Missouri. She was 75 years, 8 months, and 1 day of age.

Nita was born in California but lived most of her childhood in Texas before returning to the Exeter area in her teens.

Besides her parents, Nita was preceded in death by her first husband, James Bailey, her second husband, Kenneth Gilbert, five sons, and one daughter.

She is survived by one daughter, Gina Osborn, two sons, Ronald Gilbert and Donald Gilbert and his wife, Wava, twenty-two- grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
