Ronald Eugene Clouse passed from this life on June 29, 2024. He was born November 23, 1950, on Thanksgiving Day to George Adam and Laurel Adele (Wallace) Clouse at home in Douglas County, Missouri. He joined three siblings, Billy, Bobby, and Marilyn.
Ronald “Ronney” and Linda Gail Lane were united in marriage on June 30, 1969, and were blessed with three sons, Donnie Joe, Ronnie Dean, and Danny Lane.
Ronney went from dairy farming to working in two factories in St. Louis for about two years. After moving back to Douglas County and working at Burke Bridge Construction for approximately a year, he started his over thirty-year career working at Kraft Foods, with his last several years in Australia, where he suffered his first heart attack. He worked many double shifts and only missed work once due to the weather. He retired on disability with several back surgeries and heart issues
He spent many hours hunting coons and deer, fishing, farming, (keeping his boys working), trading anything from guns to his boots, and loved being outdoors, especially mowing, which he continued to do until his last summer.
Ronney was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, F.A. “Pete” and Ada Clouse, and Jess and Minnie Wallace, one sister, Marilyn Sue Goff, and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Clouse and Rowena Clouse.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda Clouse, of fifty-five years, minus one day, his sons, Donnie Joe (Kathy) Clouse, Ronnie Dean (Christy Cannon) Clouse, and Danny Lane Clouse, all of Mansfield, Missouri, grandchildren, Celena Nicole Clouse, Clayton Dean Clouse, Kel-c Dawn (Parker) Hollabaugh, Laurel Layne Clouse, Ali Anna Clouse, Ronnie Joe James Clouse, Kaelan Cannon (Josh) Lakey, Triston (Quincey) Cannon, Cole (Nova) Cannon, great-grandchildren, Aliyah Nicole Eller, Graysen Dale Eller, Brynella Layne Withnell, Cole Hollabaugh, Carter Hollabaugh, Parker Lakey, Bridger Lakey, and Lennon Quinn Cannon, with special mention to Chelsey Marie Barnum, Sadie Surayne Evans, and Paul “Trey” Howard III, brothers, Billy Lee Clouse, and Bobby Joe Clouse, and brother-in-law, David Goff, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
He lost his decade-long struggle with dementia and bipolar and is at rest now. Due to Ronney’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
