Sean Patrick Conley

December 30, 1962 — November 3, 2023

Sean Patrick Conley, 60, Mansfield, Missouri, departed this life Friday, November 3, 2023, at his home. He was with his adoring wife of nearly 24 years as he graduated to Heaven.

The son of Michael and Sandra (Clark) Conley, he was born in Washington, Missouri, December 30, 1962. On December 31, 1999 he was united in marriage to Nancy Elizabeth Steffe in Springfield.

Sean was a Christian, being raised in the Catholic faith. In 1981,he graduated from Union High School, of which he was a decorated three sport athelete. He then attended (now) Missouri State University for several years before working with Payne Sign Company. Following this 9 years as a journeyman, Sean started his own company, Seebright Signs, which operated until 2000 in Nixa. He then returned to fabrication by designing and creating custom neon signs with Neon Nights until the year 2007, when he began freelancing in sign maintenance and consulting.

Sean's greatest joys were from faith and family with a variety of interests: neon design, musical instruments, singing, cooking, fishing, camping, home remodeling/renovating, current events and gardening. ALL were done with his grand sense of humor -- to the top degree of wit. He had true passions of football and RUSH plus was an avid animal lover who did volunteer work for organizations.

Sean is survived by wife, Nancy Conley, Mansfield; sisters Missy Vogt and husband Scott, Union, Shannon Grus and husband Steve, Rosebud; brother-in-law David Steffe and wife Beth, Mansfield; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Kind and loving, all will sorely miss and have priceless memories being: wife, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, dog dad and friend. It is a certainty all have abounding treasured memories with LOTS of chuckles.

Sean was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Sandra Conley.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mansfield R-4 High School Band [316 W Ohio St, Mansfield, MO 65704] are preferred.
