Shawn Daily Sr.

Shawn Daniel Daily Sr. was born January 30, 1967, in Moline, Illinois, and departed this life July 25, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, at 58 years of age.

Shawn’s mother, Marcia, relocated the family to southwest Missouri after their father passed away in the early 1970’s. Shawn attended most of his elementary school in Marshfield, Missouri, and attended junior high and high school in Seymour, Missouri.

Shawn was a hard worker, and he has worked at several different factories throughout his career. His hobbies included swimming, hunting, and fishing with his family.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, William Daily, his mother, Marcia (Pond) West, his stepfather, Jesse West, and one infant son, Jesse Lee Daily.

He is survived by one son, Shawn Daily Jr., one daughter, Amber Daily, his long-time partner of 20 years, Susan Benson and her children, Seanna Benson and DJ Benson, five grandchildren, Sage, David, Daisy, Dixie, and Brett, one great-grandchild, Hazel Mae, four brothers, Doug Daily, Greg Daily and wife, Donna, Brian Daily and wife, Brenda, and John Daily and wife, Donna, two sisters, Debbie Baker and Becky Daily, as well as many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces who will miss him.
