Sherry Stein

     Sherry Lynn Stein, daughter of Eugene Schmoyer and Susan (White) Schmoyer, was born December 12, 1969, in Buck County, Pennsylvania, and departed this life June 7, 2024, in her home south of Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

     She was united in marriage to Ken Stein on June 5, 1999, and to this union 2 sons were born.

     Sherry is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ken, of the home; sons, Matthew Stein and wife, Joanie, of Mansfield, Missouri, and Jacob Stein of the home; her parents, Eugene and Susan Schmoyer of East Greenville, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Randy Schmoyer, of Fremont, California.

     Sherry was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in the Class of 1987.  She was a devoted wife and homemaker and was of the Christian faith.  She and Ken moved to Mansfield, Missouri, in 2012.

     In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and loved home schooling her children. Sherry was an avid bicyclist, having participated in 3 different 500 mile, one-week rides to raise money for charities like Habitat for Humanity.

     Sherry was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know she is in the presence of Jesus Christ.
