Stephen Joe Hicks

Stephen Joe Hicks, son of the late William Leonard and Virgie (Clark) Hicks, was born on July 8, 1955, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and departed this life on January 30, 2016, in Seymour, Missouri. He was 60 years, 6 months, and 22 days of age.
Stephen enjoyed going to horse shows, auctioneering, and buying and selling dairy cattle.
Besides his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Ralph Peck and Russell Driskell.
Stephen is survived by his three children: Nelson, Bobbi Jo, and Brandy; one brother: Ronald Hicks of Bolivar, Missouri; three sisters: Nadine Peck of Huntsville, Alabama, Barbara Chandler of Wesco, Missouri, and Phyllis Proctor of Mountain Grove, Missouri; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Memorial Service: Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church.

Burial: Vanzant Cemetery at a later date.
