Steven Baugh

     Steven Allan Baugh was born June 1, 1954, in Iowa City, Iowa, and departed this life June 2, 2024, at his home near Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 70 years and 1 day.

     On June 30, 1979, he was united in marriage to Kimberly Sue Plake and to this union 2 children were born.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Glen Baugh; and brother, George Frederick Baugh Jr.

     Steve is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; son, Robert Baugh of Mansfield, Missouri; daughter, Sarena Smith and husband, Michael, of Seymour, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Dalton Baugh, Trever Baugh, Katelynn Smith, Trey Smith, and Caleb Smith; great-granddaughter, Hazel Baugh; brothers, Richard Bell of Galesburg, Illinois, and Doug Bell and wife, Diann, of Republic, Missouri; sister, Cindy Terronez and husband, Darrell, of Silvis, Illinois; sister-in-law, Melissa Baugh of Pleasant Hope, Missouri; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

     Steve was born in Iowa and graduated from West High School in Davenport, Iowa.  He served our country faithfully in the United States Army from 1973 to 1977, was a member of Mtn. Grove VFW Post 3770, and was a Commodity Specialist Broker.

     In his spare time, he liked to hunt, loved the Chicago Cubs, playing the lottery, and watching the grandkids play ball.

     Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and caring neighbor and friend.  We have many special memories that we will always cherish.
