Terry Dean Dobson

Terry Dean Dobson, son of the late Clarence and Millie Lugene (Hicks) Dobson, was born February 3, 1958 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on May 27, 2024, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the age of 66.

Terry grew up in Mountain Grove and graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1976. Terry spent many years as a salesman, but found his passion as he became the voice of the Mountain Grove Panthers doing radio broadcasting for football, basketball and baseball games. 

Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Dobson; and one brother, Don Dobson.

Terry is survived by three sons, Ben Dobson and wife, Miranda, of Mountain Grove, J.D. Dobson and wife, Emily, of Mansfield, and Chris Dobson and wife, Alexandra, of Mountain Grove. Terry is also survived by ten grandchildren, Bryar, Jaxon, (and one on the way), Luke, Norah, Owen, Caden, Daphne, Waylon and Haley; two brothers, Kenny Dobson and wife, Sarah, of Conway, South Carolina, and Perry Dobson and wife, Jana, of Cabool; sister-in-law, Ramona Dobson of Kingdom City, Missouri; nephews, Kevin, Scott and Jason; nieces, Shelby and Emily, as well as many cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and love him.
