Thelma Jean Farr

May 17, 1947 — May 21, 2024

Norwood

Thelma Jean Farr, daughter of the late Jessie Sherman Bradshaw and Goldie Lucille (Roadlander) Bradshaw-Brown, was born May 17, 1947, in Norwood, Missouri, and passed peacefully at her home on May 21, 2024. She was 77 years and 4 days of age.

Thelma, with her significant other of over 40 years, James Virtue, enjoyed gardening and flowers, flea markets, yard sales, and traveling throughout the United States. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids as much as she could. She also enjoyed going to play Bingo, the Casinos, and scratchers.

Thelma never knew a stranger, she loved having conversations with anyone who would talk with her. She was always so excited to see a baby and was that person who would walk up to someone with a baby and just talk to them. She would praise, or tell someone how beautiful they were, she was not afraid to show love to others. She was known for making people feel good about themselves.

Thelma Jean was preceded in death by her parents and step-parents, Jessie and Goldia Bradshaw and Harold and Goldie Brown;   Clayton Farr; siblings, Theresa Furgeson, Sheila Dean, Harold Brown II, and Ronnie Byerly; three children, Clayton Farr Jr., Bambi Lynn Farr, and Twyla Kay Farr; and a brother-in-law, Sonny Hurt.

Thelma Jean is survived by her son, Von Erik Farr (Cindy Jo) of Dora, Missouri, her daughter, Stacy Molnar (Frank) of Battlefield, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Elizabeth Brake (Mason), Ashley Brake (Jared), Brittney Rains (James), Erik Von Farr (Beth), Von Christopher Davis (Kristine), Tyler Lane Davis (Kim), Joseph Molnar, Jennifer Rene Molnar, Sierra Christine Farr (Cody), and Frank James Molnar (Erica); one brother, Kenny Bradshaw (Brenda); three sisters, Lily Pelliccio (Tony), Willie Barnett (Thomas), and Donna Hurt; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
