Teresa Murr

Teresa Lynn Murr was born September 16, 1959, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She passed away on January 23, 2026, and is now rejoicing with her loved ones in Heaven.

Teresa was the youngest of twelve children and was a very rambunctious child. Regardless of the age difference, she was very close to all of her siblings. She was saved and baptized at a young age and loved God.

Teresa married her high school sweetheart, Danny Murr, on May 2, 1980, and had two beautiful children, Michael and Cammie. Teresa loved the outdoors. She spent countless hours gardening, decorating, and planting flowers. She may have been raised as a simple country girl, but she was nothing less than extravagant.

Teresa loved her family more than anything. She and Danny worked hard on the farm for many years. After they quit farming, they got to travel a bit. They visited Cammie in Europe and saw four different countries on that trip. Then they got to see Pikes Peak in Colorado. Teresa’s greatest joy in life was her two grandchildren, Tristan and Madison. They were her life.

Teresa absolutely loved going to yard sales with Danny, Michael, and Kayla. She would never come home empty handed. She loved scratching lottery tickets and was a winner most of the time. Teresa loved spending her evenings with her family and her little chihuahua, “Itty Bitty,” whom she would share her cheese puffs and ice cream with.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Danny Murr; her children, Cammie Lathrom and Michael Murr and his wife, Kayla, who Teresa loved like a daughter; and her two grandchildren, Tristan and Madison.

Teresa will be greatly missed by all her family, loved ones, and all who knew her. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She truly loved being each and every one of those things. She loved BIG.
